The mission of the SiMT is to support our students' and college's future by developing exceptional business solutions for our clients in a timely and efficient manner. We achieve this by providing leading subject matter experts, effective communication, personal attention, and unparalleled service to our customers. Our overarching goal is to accomplish our mission by supporting your business through one or more of the SiMT’s business units. The SiMT (Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology) is a division of Florence-Darlington Technical College, part of South Carolina’s Technical College System. As a state agency, our purchasing, procurement, and financial activities are governed by state regulations.
