3D Prototyping Hub (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates https://3dprototypinghub.com. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using this site you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when using the site:

Quote requests — name, email, company, project description, and budget submitted through provider contact forms.
Listing submissions — business name, city, state, website, email, phone, services, and description submitted via the Add Listing form.
Claim requests — name, business email, role, and any additional context submitted when claiming a provider listing.
Email subscriptions — the email address you give us to receive a download (such as a filament guide or reference sheet), together with which download you asked for, which page or channel you asked from, and the fact that you ticked the consent box. We store a salted one-way hash of your IP address rather than the address itself.
Payment information — billing details processed through Stripe. We do not store payment card data on our servers.

We also collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited when you access the site.

How We Use Your Information

To operate and maintain the 3D printing provider directory.
To route quote requests to the appropriate providers.
To verify and process listing claims.
To send transactional emails related to your submission or account.
To send you the download you requested and, if you consented, occasional 3D printing guides and resources. Every such email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
To improve the site and directory quality.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to what you asked us for. If you gave us your address to receive a download, we may email you about downloads and 3D printing guides until you unsubscribe. We never add you to that list from any other form, and quote requests, listing submissions and claims never subscribe you to anything.

Cookies

We use session cookies necessary for the site to function, including authentication state for provider dashboard access. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. If you use the site without logging in, no persistent cookies are set beyond those required for standard web operation.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

Stripe — payment processing for listing claims and upgrades. Stripe processes payment card data directly and is PCI-DSS compliant. We receive a transaction confirmation but never your full card details. stripe.com/privacy
Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) — email delivery for confirmation and notification emails, for sending a download you requested, and for any guides you consented to receive. Your email address is used only for those purposes. brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy
Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Your submitted data is stored on Supabase-managed servers in the United States. supabase.com/privacy
Vercel — hosting and content delivery. Vercel processes server logs including IP addresses and request metadata. vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

Data Retention

We retain submitted information as long as your listing or account is active, or as required to fulfill the purpose for which it was submitted. Quote request data is retained for operational records. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.

If you subscribed to receive a download or guides, you can remove yourself at any time using the unsubscribe link in any of those emails, or by visiting https://3dprototypinghub.com/unsubscribe with the link from your email. Unsubscribing stops the guides. It does not delete your record, so that we can honour the request; ask us at the address below if you want the row removed entirely.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
