Rapid Prototype Services, LLC was established in 2004 by Ken Brace, a University of Central Florida Mechanical Engineering graduate with 20 years of experience, including running a precision sheet metal factory. Ken and his father owned and operated a precision sheet metal company from 1984 to 2001, employing 60 people with a 35,000 square foot shop floor. Ken founded Rapid Prototype Services using FDM technology, believing that the plastic models created through this process were superior in strength and flexibility compared to other market options. Today, Rapid Prototype Services continues to deliver affordable, high-quality 3D prototypes with incredible precision and reliability.
