protoCAD Corp was established in 1993 by Ron and Brian, who have co-owned the company since its inception. As engineers for the Navy, they discovered the potential of 3D printing while designing a nozzle for a new ejection seat rocket motor. Recognizing its value, they founded protoCAD to provide engineering services and 3D printed parts to engineers. These parts save labor, improve designs, reduce errors, spur creativity, serve as excellent sales tools, and can even be used as production parts. Located in La Plata, Maryland, protoCAD Corp supports companies and government facilities across the United States with personalized service and innovative solutions.
