Polar Filament is a premium 3D printing filament brand proudly manufactured in Michigan by Douglas Innovation. Founded in 2017, Douglas Innovation began as a small startup driven by the need for high-quality, reliable filament. Today, with a dedicated team of 13 employees, we continue to push the boundaries of filament manufacturing by focusing on quality, consistency, and rapid turnaround times. Our journey started with operating a high-volume print farm, where sourcing filament that met our stringent standards proved nearly impossible. The market lacked options that combined bulk availability, color variety, and unwavering quality. In response, we began producing our own filament exclusively for internal use. By 2021, we decided to open our doors to the public, making our meticulously crafted filaments available to everyone who values excellence in 3D printing materials.
